Terms and Conditions

 

 

·        If the Club must cancel a Class for any reason, then the gymnast will be offered an alternative class on another date to suit the gymnast.

·        The Club or any of its Staff will not be held responsible for any loss of personal items (i.e., Jewellery, mobile phones etc. that a gymnast brings to the classes.

·        You must declare any medical conditions during registration and keep the Club up-to-date should this change by e-mailing the Club office.

·        You must declare on the registration form if you do not want your child to be photographed for marketing and promotional use on our flyers/website/Facebook sites.

·        Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received. Paid for spaces will be given priority.

·        You must refrain from bringing your child to Class if they have had any form of illness within 48 hours of the Class

·        We do not issue refunds or ‘Catch Up’ Classes due to your own circumstances.

·        Please make sure that you pick your child up at the Class finish time.

·        The Club is committed to conducting its activities in the safest manner possible. We hold the safety of the participants in the highest possible regard. However, parents must recognise that there is an inherent risk of injury in the sport.

·        Children are not permitted to climb or play on any apparatus other than under the direct supervision of a Coach.

·        All fees are paid by direct debit on the 1st of the month through ‘Class for Kids’. The fees are calculated to incorporate 4 weeks annual Club holidays, i.e., 48 sessions paid over 52 weeks and are run continually.

·        If you child wishes to stop gymnastics, then you must provide the Club with 1-month prior notice to the stop date. This should be done by contacting the office via email to let us know and we can cancel the payment.

·        For insurance purposes, the child must enrol as a member of Scottish Gymnastics (see Scottish Gymnastics website). It is the parent’s responsibility to enrol the child, as the Club have no control over this membership.

 

               The child must adhere to the following gym rules:

o   All gymnasts must arrive prior to the Class starting (not earlier than 5 minutes before)

o   Long hair must be tied back

o   No shoes or boots allowed in the gym

o   All gymnasts should either wear t-shirt and shorts or a leotard. No crop tops please.

o   Scottish Gymnastics has a ‘no jewellery policy.’ Any jewellery worn will invalidate their insurance. Newly pierced ears have a six-week ‘grace’ if they are covered with tape. After six weeks they must be taken out for Class. The coaches will not provide tape for newly pierced ears.

o   No food or drink will be allowed in the gym.

o   Due to the gymnastics ‘Child Protection Policies’ no parents will be allowed in the gymnasium under any circumstances.  

o   If you wish to speak to a member of the coaching team, this must be done at the start or finish of the training session.
